Eric Joseph Lara of Las Cruces passed away on October 31, 2015 at the age of 42. He was born on November 10, 1972 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to his loving parents Alex and Maurice Lara. He was the youngest of 4 children. He felt very fortunate to marry the love of his life Falisha Lara. They spent 19 wonderful years together filled with love and happiness; they truly adored each other. Eric’s laugh was contagious and his sense of humor was sharp and keen. He was a man who was not afraid to express his love for his friends and family.
Eric was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 1, 1989 and served Jehovah faithfully throughout his life. He looked forward to a time when he could be healthy with his family and friends in paradise here on earth.
He is survived by his loving and faithful wife, Falisha Lara; his parents, Alex and Maurice Lara; two brothers, Steve Lara and his wife Adrianne; Chris Lara and his wife Mandy; his sister, Jessica Gonzales and her husband J.J.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
We look forward to the day when we will be together again.
